Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Unbounded JQL queries are not allowed | Add any restriction (created >= -30d, a project, ...). A bare ORDER BY is unbounded. This is a Jira platform rule. |
| A listener didn't fire | Check it is enabled, the kind matches the event, and its scoping matches the work item. |
| A hooked() or built-in function search returns nothing at first | The very first search after saving can come back empty. Search again a moment later; it stays current from then on. |
| A long script times out in the Console | The Console allows about 25 seconds. Use a bulk job, which runs in the background. |
| ERROR with a stack trace | The line numbers point at your script. Fix and save (a new version), or roll back. |
| Something else | Report it from Report a bug in the app sidebar or the support page, and include the run from Run history. |
